Terms of Service
Effective June 6, 2026 · Path & Plate LLC · California
1. Agreement
By creating an account, you enter into this binding agreement with Path & Plate LLC, a California limited liability company. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform.
2. The service
Path & Plate connects members with coaches who design personalized workout and nutrition programs. AI-generated drafts are produced from your intake and reviewed by a real human coach before delivery.
Path & Plate is not a substitute for medical, dietary, or psychological care. Always consult a qualified professional before making significant changes to your training or diet, especially if you have a medical condition or are pregnant.
3. Account responsibilities
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. Intentionally misrepresenting medical conditions, injuries, or age puts you at risk and is grounds for termination.
4. Subscription, billing & cancellation
Memberships renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Membership & billing — the cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not issue partial refunds for unused time.
Subscriptions purchased via the iOS App Store are governed by Apple's billing terms; manage and cancel those subscriptions from your Apple ID account.
5. Acceptable use
You will not: harass other members or coaches, post abusive or illegal content, attempt to circumvent payment, share your account, scrape the platform, or reverse-engineer it.
6. Content & ownership
You retain ownership of what you post (photos, messages, progress entries). You grant Path & Plate a non-exclusive license to host and display your content as needed to operate the platform.
All exercise, food, and program content created by Path & Plate or its coaches is owned by Path & Plate. You may use it for personal training but may not redistribute it.
7. No medical advice; assumption of risk
Physical training carries inherent risk of injury. By using Path & Plate, you assume responsibility for following the prescribed programs safely. If something hurts beyond normal exertion, stop and consult a medical professional.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by California law, Path & Plate's total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing law & venue
These terms are governed by California law. Any disputes are resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
11. Changes
We'll notify you in the app and by email at least 30 days before any material change to these terms.
